Delivery Guide 📦

Everything you need to know about the shipping of your fronts

Shipping is a part of the process to which we have paid a lot of attention, for which we need logistics partners to transport and deliver the goods from our workshops to the agreed address.

CUBRO does not have its own storage facilities and dispatches projects as soon as they are completed by the workshop. If your construction is delayed and you need to store your order for a few weeks, consult our Storage Service or contact us.

1. Packaging

Our product has unique characteristics: it is heavy, bulky, delicate, and of superior quality. These features make the transportation process crucial for us, leading us to develop a highly robust packaging process. This process ensures maximum protection of the product without significantly increasing its weight.

The projects are shipped in a very sturdy box on a certified pallet measuring ↔240 x ⤡80cm x ↕50cm. The pallet weight ranges from 120 to 300 kg.

Inside, you will find:

  • Fronts: wrapped in several layers of kraft paper + bubble wrap, pieces can be shipped individually or in pairs, depending on size.

  • A4 Box: Inside the main box, there is also an A4-sized box containing extra materials, including a cleaning kit and surface-mounted handles (if you selected them). Be careful not to throw this box away!

2. Transit

As soon as the workshop informs us that the project is finished, we will generate the pick-up order with the logistics company:

  • You will receive an e-mail with the tracking number the moment it is picked up.
  • Transit time within mainland Europe usually takes between 7 to 14 working days from the time it is picked up. Please check with us if your timeline is tight.
  • Holiday periods or high demand periods between Black Friday and Christmas can significantly affect transit times.

As an external company handles the transport, we cannot control the delivery dates, which are coordinated by the shipping company. Remember, fronts are a heavy and bulky product, and shipments depend on the volume, routes, and capacity of their vehicles.

3. Delivery

Once the delivery date has been confirmed, your order will arrive at the agreed address. In Europe, transport companies are very strict and, above a certain weight, they do not enter private properties this is why boxes are unloaded at street level. But don't worry - the bulks are designed so that the larger pieces can easily be lifted by one or two people

If you notice any kind of damage or breakage in the packaging, please follow the instructions in the following article.

4. Acclimatization Process

If your project includes birch plywood fronts (laminate or linoleum ranges), it is crucial to follow the acclimatization process before installation. You must remove the wrapping and follow the steps in the acclimatization guide, which will help you prepare the fronts properly and prevent warping.

5. Installation

We recommend checking our Installation & Support section for all guides and installation tips, as well as FAQs. It’s important to keep these guides handy during assembly. If you're hiring an external installer, make sure to share these guides with them in advance.
