I have a problem with an appliance

Instructions for requesting assistance

If you have encountered a problem with an appliance, here’s how to proceed. Remember that if your problem has to do with water leaks or electrical problems, it is advisable to call the insurance company first so that they can send you a professional who can evaluate if the problem is related to the installations of the house.

Appliance purchased by the customer

If the appliance is an IKEA appliance purchased by you:

  • Check your invoice to verify that the appliance is under warranty. You can check the warranty period for each appliance on IKEA’s website.

  • With the product reference, you can contact IKEA Customer Service at your country. They are very quick and efficient.

  • They will provide you with the appliance supplier (Whirlpool, Electrolux, Bosch, etc.) and a contact number.

  • Call the corresponding number and explain your issue. They will schedule a technician visit within the next 72 hours to resolve it.

If the appliance is not an IKEA appliance purchased by you:

  • Check your invoice to verify that the appliance is under warranty.

  • Look for the service conditions in the invoice or confirmation email.

  • Call the Assistance number indicated and explain your issue. They will schedule a technician visit within the next 72 hours to resolve it.

Appliance purchased through CUBRO

If CUBRO purchased the appliance on your behalf, remember that CUBRO acts as an intermediary between the customer and the appliance brand. We recommend reviewing the specific service conditions for appliance sales by CUBRO.

  • Send us an email describing the issue you are experiencing and provide a contact number.

  • We will verify that the purchase date falls within the appliance warranty period.

  • We will contact the appliance’s technical service to open a service request.

  • We will inform you about the request, and a technician will contact you to inspect the issue.
