Warranty

Detailed documento for CUBRO products

For CUBRO to be held liable, the lack of conformity must:

  • Be unknown to the Client, so there’s no liability for issues the Client knew or couldn’t reasonably ignore at delivery.

  • Relate to the product or its installation if included in the contract and carried out by CUBRO or an authorized party, in case of faulty instructions.

In accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16, CUBRO provides a five (5) year warranty from the date of delivery on its fronts (drawers, doors, side panels) for any material or manufacturing defects affecting operation or use.

  • The delivery date is the invoice date, which serves as proof of purchase.

  • CUBRO’s technicians or authorized personnel must verify any defects.

  • The warranty covers free repair/replacement of recognized defective parts. After two years, labor and travel are at the client’s expense.

  • The warranty excludes all accessories or components worn through normal use, misuse, lack of care, or external causes (fire, flood, etc.). Panelled dishwasher fronts and the door above cooktops are excluded.

CUBRO deems acceptable:

  • Hidden damages not visible from 70 cm on the front face.

  • Defects under 1 cm on the back face.

  • Tone variations over time due to sunlight exposure.

Warping of Birch Plywood Panels

  • A five (5) year warranty applies for possible warping, starting six months after delivery.

  • Valid only if correctly handled and acclimatized before installation, as specified in product documentation.

  • If warping exceeds 5 mm and persists after 6 months, CUBRO will repair or replace the fronts free of charge.

  • Repairs must be done by authorized personnel. The warranty clock pauses during repair and resumes thereafter, with a minimum of two years for the new item.

Recommendations

Subject to applicable law, the warranty remains valid only if:

  • Products are properly stored, transported, and handled. CUBRO disclaims damage due to third-party transport.

  • Installation is correct; otherwise, the installer is liable.

  • Proper use and maintenance follow the materials' guidelines.

  • Any issue must be reported to CUBRO within two months. Late reporting doesn’t void the warranty, but the customer bears responsibility for damages caused by delay.

IKEA® Products

All IKEA® products purchased by CUBRO on behalf of the client are covered by IKEA’s warranty only. CUBRO will provide the receipt. IKEA warranties vary (5, 10, or 25 years); check their website for exact terms.
