The decision to manufacture our countertops with a depth of ⤡62,3 cm instead of ⤡63,5 cm is based on both functional and aesthetic design criteria.
✅ Optimal fit with furniture: The 62 cm measurement perfectly matches the structure of IKEA METOD modules, ensuring that the countertop is flush with the fronts:
- Front thickness: 19-20 mm
- IKEA METOD module depth: 590 mm
- Wall mounting margin: 10 mm
- Gaps: 3-6 mm
✅ A more uniform aesthetic line: A smaller overhang prevents an excessively pronounced protrusion over the doors and fronts, providing a cleaner finish.
✅ Ease of installation: By allowing adequate clearance at the back, wall alignment and sealing application are simplified.
Available Lengths
Our countertops are available in two lengths:
- ↕186 cm: This size matches IKEA’s standard countertop dimensions.
- ↕240 cm: Our maximum length, as it is the largest size allowed for palletization.
