- Remember that if you order standard shelves and cut them, you will lose the mechanization, so we do not recommend cutting them.
Why these dimensions?
- ⤡20 cm is the minimum required for installation with concealed fittings.
- ↔60 cm and 120 cm match IKEA's modular system, optimizing board usage and preventing warping and bending.
If you need a shelf with some other dimension, it will be shipped unmachined and without fittings, so we recommend ordering it in the standard dimensions
Installation with Italiana Ferramenta fittings (Standard Shelves)
The fittings include a threaded rod that allows precise adjustment and an adjustable tilt to ensure the shelf is properly leveled. Assembly is simple using an Allen key.
The fitting features a screw for adjusting the shelf's tilt after installation.
Features:
- Support 15 kg per pair of fittings.
- Adjustable leveling.
- Anti-tilt locking system.
- It is essential that the shelves are installed on reinforced walls with a double board or MDF interior panel.
Installation of Non-Machined Shelves
To ensure safe installation, we recommend using brackets or supports that provide additional stability, especially for high-load applications. CUBRO does not provide brackets.
If choosing invisible fixation without brackets:
- It is essential that the shelves are installed on reinforced walls with a double board or MDF interior panel.
- The quality of the wall is the customer’s responsibility, who must ensure it can support the shelf’s weight and use the appropriate hardware for the wall type.
- On drywall walls, specific support anchors must be used, and the load must be limited to a maximum of 5 kg.
- Shelves should not be installed on hollow, uneven, or misaligned walls.
- You can use an invisible hardware Ø100mm similar to these.
For WOOD or LACQUER finishes, note that if cutting is required, the cut edges will expose the MDF core. While this does not affect functionality, it may require additional edging for a uniform aesthetic.
Even if you hire our installation service in Spain, the installation of the shelves is the customer's responsibility
