Our 19 mm thick shelves are essential for optimising the space in your furniture, providing strength and versatility in their design.
These shelves are crucial for the functionality of your furniture, offering a stable base to organise and display objects. Their thickness and strength ensure durability and safety.

Technical Specifications

Material: 19 mm thick MDF wood.
Standard Dimensions: 200 x 600 mm and 200 x 1200 mm.
Depth: 20 cm, ideal for maximising storage of small items and deep enough for items like plates, books, jars, or bowls.
Length: 60 cm and 120 cm, fitting standard kitchen modulations.
Load Capacity: Supports moderate loads of up to 15 kg.
Modular Design: Our shelves are designed to integrate into different configurations and furniture styles, ensuring versatility and ease of installation.

For projects requiring non-standard sizes, we offer customisation options. In these cases, shelves will be sold without included fittings, and adjustments will be made during installation to ensure they do not match the fixing holes.

In WOOD or LACQUER finishes, note that cuts will expose the MDF core. While this does not compromise functionality, additional edging may be needed to maintain a uniform appearance.

Installation and assembly

To ensure a safe installation, we recommend using brackets or supports that provide additional stability, especially if a heavy load is expected.
If you opt for invisible fixing without brackets, it is essential that the shelves are installed on reinforced walls with double board or interior MDF panels. The quality of the wall is the client's responsibility, and they must ensure that it can support the shelf load and that the correct fittings are used for the construction type. In plasterboard walls, specific support plugs must be used, and the load limited to a maximum of 5 kg.

Additional Considerations:

  • Shelves should not be installed on hollow, uneven, or out-of-square walls.
  • If the CUBRO installation team carries out the assembly, the wall will be checked to ensure it is brick, and only standard fixing options will be used.
  • With your CUBRO front order, you will receive a package with hidden mounting brackets. These fittings include a threaded rod that allows for precise adjustment and adjustable tilt to ensure the shelf is level. Assembly is easily done using an Allen key.

The hardware has a screw to adjust the shelf’s tilt once installed.

Maintenance and Care

To prolong the life of the shelves, we recommend cleaning them with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the wood finish.
Our shelves are specifically designed to complement your integrated furniture and are not sold independently, except for minimum orders of 20 units. This policy allows us to optimise production and ensure a sustainable process.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Are the shelves compatible with other furniture systems?
Yes, our shelves can be combined with various types of furniture, adapting to different design needs.

  • Do I need to reinforce the walls for installation?
Yes, we recommend installing the shelves on walls reinforced with double board or MDF panels to ensure stable and secure fixing.

  • Can I order custom-sized shelves?
Yes, we offer custom-sized shelves, although fittings are not included. In these cases, it’s important to avoid the cut matching the fixing holes.

  • Why are standard dimensions important?
The 20 cm depth maximises storage for small items while allowing larger items, such as plates or books, to be placed. Additionally, the 60 cm and 120 cm lengths correspond to standard kitchen modulations, ensuring consistent installation with the rest of the furniture.
