CUBRO Products

We provide you with the warranty for our product. In it, you will find the terms and guarantees of our product.

In order for CUBRO's liability to arise, it is necessary that the lack of conformity:

Is unknown to the Client, so that there is no liability for non-conformities that the Client was aware of or could not reasonably have been unaware of at the time of delivery of the product.

The Customer shall not be held liable for any defective installation of the product or its installation when it is included in the Contract and has been carried out by CUBRO or by a third party authorised by CUBRO, if the defective installation is due to an error in the instructions.

Pursuant to the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, CUBRO offers a guarantee on its fronts - drawer fronts, doors and side panels - for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery, with regard to any material and manufacturing defects that affect their operation and use.

The date of delivery shall be understood to be the date of the corresponding invoice, which shall be proof of purchase.

In order for it to be understood that there is a material and/or manufacturing defect, CUBRO technicians or personnel authorised by CUBRO for this purpose must verify the existence of the defect.

The warranty covers the replacement and/or repair free of charge of the fronts accepted as defective and not conforming to the specifications. However, once the second year has elapsed since the purchase of the product from CUBRO, the costs of travel and labour shall be borne by the Customer.

Exempt from warranty are all accessories, components and parts damaged by ordinary wear and tear, incorrect use or lack of care by the Customer, as well as by catastrophic causes (such as fire, flood, etc.) and any other cause not related to manufacture. Likewise, panelled dishwasher fronts are exempt from the guarantee.

At CUBRO, our environmental commitment drives us to prioritise the use of materials. For this reason, we consider acceptable any piece with hidden damage due to its position, imperfections not visible at a distance of 70 cm on the front face, or defects of less than 1 cm on the back face.

Due to the nature of the materials used in CUBRO fronts, they may undergo changes in tone due to the passage of time and exposure to sunlight. In the case of replacement or extension of furniture, these differences in shade cannot be the subject of a complaint.

Alterations to birch plywood panels

In the case of fronts made of birch plywood, the guarantee in the event of any buckling of the fronts is offered for five (5) years from six months after the date of delivery. This guarantee is subject to the correct handling of these fronts including the acclimatisation period. The acclimatisation period of the fronts must be carried out prior to assembly of the fronts as specified in the documentation enclosed with the CUBRO front material delivered.

When a buckling is reported, CUBRO will register the buckled fronts as an incident. If after 6 months from the installation of the fronts they still show a defective condition, CUBRO or its agents will replace and/or repair the fronts free of charge.

Repair work may only be carried out by personnel expressly authorised by CUBRO and shall be carried out within a reasonable period of time and without major inconvenience to the customer. The repair or replacement of the product will suspend the computation of the warranty periods until the delivery of the new product, which will resume the pending period of the original warranty of the replaced product, taking into account that the minimum warranty period for repair/replacement will be two years.

Recommendations

Without prejudice to the rights that the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, and complementary norms, expressly recognises the Client, the validity of this guarantee is subject to the following rules:

  • Correct storage, handling and transport of the product must be carried out. It is expressly excluded any liability for damage caused by improper use, storage and handling, as well as transport outside CUBRO.
  • Proper installation of the furniture. The responsibility for damages or defects caused by improper installation is the responsibility of the company that has carried out the assembly at the Customer's premises.
  • Proper use, conservation and maintenance of the furniture in relation to the characteristics of the different materials used in its manufacture, as specified in the instructions in this manual.

In the event of any incident with the kitchen fronts, the Customer must contact CUBRO as soon as possible. The Client must inform CUBRO of the lack of conformity within two months of becoming aware of it. Failure to do so will not result in the loss of the warranty, but the Customer will nevertheless be liable for any damages and/or losses that may occur as a result of the delay in communication.

IKEA® Products

All products purchased from IKEA® by CUBRO acting as the Customer's agent are exempt from warranty.

These products are covered by the warranty of IKEA IBERICA, S.A.U. or any of the Group's subsidiaries, in accordance with the conditions and warranties of each of the products.

It is recommended to refer to the IKEA® website to identify how many years of warranty corresponds to each product, because IKEA® products may include a warranty of 5, 10 and 25 years. CUBRO will provide the Customer with the sales receipt for all IKEA® products to enforce this warranty.
