LINOLEUM - Face B

On our boards, we use linoleum on birch plywood for the visible face and HPL laminate for the hidden face. The tones of the HPL laminate resemble linoleum, although exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.

In our boards, you can distinguish face A as the visible face and face B. Our linoleum finish is applied to birch plywood boards on their face A. The facing of face B is an HPL laminate sheet.

This choice is because face B is at greater risk of scratches and damage, and the linoleum surface once damaged is irreparable.

To maintain the same tones between both faces of the board, we select HPL laminates in colors that closely approximate the tone of the linoleum used on face A. However, it is important to note that, due to differences between materials and finishes, we cannot ensure an exact color match.

List of linoleum finishes and their corresponding HPL laminates:

  • LINOLEUM OLIVE on face B, F5343 Possum is used. The tone of the HPL laminate is slightly duller and lighter compared to the linoleum.
